Methodology
Where the numbers come from
Meal calories, progress toward a goal, safety limits — every number in Shchodenno has a source or a formula. Here they are.
Meal calories in Shchodenno are calculated from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy), a public-domain dataset: they are the sum of each ingredient's calories at its weight in the portion, not a laboratory analysis of the finished dish. Exercise descriptions and photos come from free-exercise-db, also public domain, and every item shows its source. Progress numbers are the difference between your latest logged weight and the target you chose yourself, not a forecast or a medical assessment. For safety, a daily plan never goes below 1200 kcal for women or 1500 kcal for men (1500 when sex is not provided), and a target weight with a BMI below 18.5 — the WHO underweight cutoff — is not accepted.
Shchodenno is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a doctor before starting any changes to your diet or physical activity.
